Comedian Special P

In 2001 Special P (Peter Frederick) embarked on a journey, He had a god given gift for making people laugh and he knew from within he was destined to become a comic/comedian actor.??He began working on his goal part time, for two years he learnt about comedy, watched other artist perform and he also used stage time to fulfil his aim. He became quickly recognised. During his first two years as a comic, he appeared on Channel fours “so you think you are funny”; he was a finalist in the Wilkinson sword competition and achieved a BECA award for best newcomer in 2002.??In my second semester my plan was to be recognised as a strong talented comic, by appearing in major venues, theatres and being billed with brand named comics/comedians, which he accomplished. He continually wrote and performed his own material, testing the comical boundaries and was awarded with another BECA award for ‘the most original material’ in 2004.??Despite being sort after to do comedy abroad Special P knew within himself he was not totally ready because of other commitments. Several agents approached and advised him to take up comedy as a full time career, he knew there was still a lot more to experience and realised that comedy is a never ending learning process. A crucial point came when he was asked to tour Germany in October 2006, to date he has been back to Germany performed in Sweden, Holland and the USA, he has regularly been chosen to perform for The Army and the RAF. Recently he has performed in Hollywood (USA) in the more established venues such as, The Laugh Factory, The Improv, The Comedy Store and other mainstream and alternative comedy clubs. Special P is now recognised as International Comedian.
He is known for using unique expressions and body language from the offset to captivate my audience. He has a cheeky wit and charm with the ladies and gives the guys side ripping lyrics to take home hence the name “Naughty but Nice / A comedy Secret" He covers a wide range of material from relationships, politics to social behaviour both home and abroad.
